Your spotlight has been engineered and
manufactured for dependability, ease of
operation, and operator safety. When
properly cared for, it will give you years of
trouble-free performance.

tions can result in personal injury and/or prop-
erty damage. Save these instructions for future
reference.
Keep away from children and pets.
Do not look directly into the light.

Do not install battery backwards, put in fire or
mix with other battery types - may explode or leak
causing injury.
To avoid damage to the battery or contacts, do
not submerge in liquid.
Spotlight contains a sealed lead acid battery.
DO NOT dispose of battery as household waste.
Battery must be disposed of in accordance with
local, state and federal regulations.
Do not use spotlight in bed or sleeping bags.
This spotlight lens can melt some fabrics and a
burn injury could result.
Do not cover with cloth, paper or any material
when in use. To avoid serious personal injury,
never allow the spotlight lens to come in contact
with anything.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put
spotlight or charger in water or other liquid. Do
not place or store spotlight where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
Use only the charger supplied by the manufac-
turer to recharge.
Use only recommended 6V 4Ah battery pack.
Any attempt to use another battery pack will
cause damage to your spotlight and could pos-
sibly explode, cause a fire, or personal injury.
Remove battery pack from spotlight before per-
forming any routine maintenance or cleaning.
Do not disassemble the spotlight.
Do not expose to high heat or fire as it might
explode or leak and cause personal injury.
Do not dispose of a worn out battery pack by
incinerating, even if it is severely damaged or
completely worn out. The battery may explode in
fire.
Do not operate spotlight or charger near flam-
mable liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmo-
spheres. Internal sparks may ignite fumes.
Do not store your spotlight in a damp or wet
location. Do not store in locations where the tem-
perature is less than 50° F or more than 100° F.
Do not store in outside sheds or in vehicles.
Keep light dry, clean, and free from oil and
grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning.
Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petro-
leum-based products, or any strong solvent to
clean the spotlight.
Do not expose spotlight to rain. Water entering
a spotlight will increase the risk of electric shock
or malfunction.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and bal-
ance at all times. Proper footing and balance
enable better control of the spotlight in unex-
pected situations. Do not use on a ladder or
unstable support.
Do not leave the spotlight unattended while in
the ON position.

hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result
in death or serious injury.
WARNING Warning indicates a potentially
hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION Caution indicates a potentially
hazardous situation which, if not avoided, MAY

information, that if not followed, may cause dam-

NOTICE
The spotlight is packaged with the trigger in a
locked position to prevent accidental discharge
during shipping. To unlock the trigger, push the
small button on side of handle.
Check to be certain that you have received
both a 12-volt and 110-volt charger.
Before first use, charge the battery using either
the 110-volt or 12-volt charger.
12-VOLT AND 110-VOLT CHARGING
* Recharge the battery immediately after dis-
charging. Always store in a charged state.
Recharge every three months even if not used.
110-volt Charging: Plug the charger into any
standard 110-volt receptacle. Plug the connector
from the charger into the spotlight receptacle
located at the back of the handle. The red LED
indicator will light indicating the unit is charging.
Charge 4 to 6 hours.
12-volt Charging: Plug the charger into any
12-volt cigarette lighter style receptacle. Plug the
connector from the charger into the spotlight
receptacle located at the back of the handle. The
red LED indicator will light indicating the unit is
charging. Charge 1 hour.
NOTICE
Check the receptacle; make sure it is clean and
be certain the plug is fully inserted. If charger
does not operate, check the fuse in the 12-volt

WARNING
Never use charger to power the light! Never
charge battery for more than 6 hours. Do not
leave charger plugged in when not in use.
Battery performance will be greatly improved if
unit is used intermittently. Prolonged or contin-
uous use will diminish battery life and continuous
use in excess of 10 minutes will put an excessive
drain on the battery and may harm unit.
Battery disposal: If this unit is either damaged
or, after many years of dependable service, the
battery in your rechargeable spotlight will no
longer accept a charge, PLEASE exercise good
judgment in disposal of this sealed lead acid bat-
tery. DO NOT dispose of battery as household
waste. Battery must be disposed of in accordance

NOTE: Excluding the bulb and fuse
NORTHWEST TRAIL extends only the following warran-
ties, and only to original retail purchasers. These warran-
ties give specific legal rights. Except where prohibited by
local law, the law of the State of Washington governs all
warranties and all exclusions and limitations of warranties
and remedies. There may be other rights which vary from
state to state.
NORTHWEST TRAIL warrants the product to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
and service. A defective product may be returned for a
free replacement within 90 days from the date of pur-
chase, provided that product is returned to place of pur-
chase immediately after discovery of defect. After 90 days
and up to one year from date of purchase, NORTHWEST
TRAIL will replace at no charge any parts which our
examination shall disclose to be defective and under war-
ranty. These warranties shall be valid only when a sales
receipt showing the date of purchase accompanies the
defective product or defective part(s) being returned. For
part(s) after 90 days, please remit your request, postage
prepaid to:

These warranties exclude batteries, bulbs, blades, bits,
punches, dies, bulbs, fuses, hoses, and other consum-
ables which must be replaced under normal use and ser-
vice. These warranties shall not apply to any product or
part which is used for a purpose for which it is not
designed, or which has been repaired or altered in any
way so as to affect adversely its performance or reliability,
nor shall these warranties apply to any product or part
which has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident or
wear and tear incident to normal use and service.
NORTHWEST TRAIL does not authorize any other person
to make any warranty or to assume any liability in connec-
tion with its products.
Except for warranties of title and the limited express war-
ranties set forth above, NORTHWEST TRAIL makes no
express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to
its products. In particular, NORTHWEST TRAIL makes no
implied warranty of merchantability and no implied war-
ranty of fitness for any particular purpose, except that for
goods purchased primarily for personal, family or house-
hold use and not for commercial or business use,
NORTHWEST TRAIL makes an implied warranty of mer-
chantability (and, if otherwise applicable, an implied war-
ranty of fitness for a particular purpose), but only for the
particular qualities or characteristics, and for the duration,
expressly warranted above.
The laws on limitation of implied warranties may differ
from state to state, so the above limitations may not apply
in all cases.
NORTHWEST TRAIL shall not be liable for consequential,
incidental or special damages resulting from or in any
manner related to any product, or to the design, use, or
any inability to use the product. The sole and exclusive
remedy for a defective product or part shall be the repair,
or replacement thereof as provided above. The laws on
limitation of remedies or on consequential, incidental or
special damages may vary from state to state, so the
above limitations may not apply in all cases.
