Troubleshooting Steps
Preventing Lime scale
We suggest to never leave old and use water in the kettle as this will increase the likelihood of lime
scale building up. We also suggest using filtered or bottled water instead of tap water.
We would also suggest boiling the water with a few drops of lemon juice, this will ease any smells
and lime scale within the device.
Leaks
Damages during transit could be the cause for the kettle’s inability to boil which could be linked to
damage to the base and Strix mechanism, which is likely causing the kettle to cut itself off when in
use. Damages to the base of the device will be the most likely cause of the stated leak. We have a
helpline found in the instruction manual should the issue persist or find damages to the kettle.
