CLEANING
Unplug the freezer before cleaning.
Clean the freezer with a soft, damp cloth and some mild detergent.
Allow the interior of the freezer to completely dry before plugging it
back in and returning food items.
It is important to clean the area where the lid seals against the
cabinet to ensure a tight seal. Clean this area well and make sure it is
completely dry.
Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol as these will
damage the appearance of the freezer. Never use any commercial or
abrasive cleaners.
Never use sharp objects on any part of the freezer.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not
affect the freezer. Make sure to minimize the number of times the lid is
opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, take
steps to protect your contents such as adding ice to the freezer or moving
the contents to alternate storage. Wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting
to restart the freezer after a power failure to allow the circuit board to
reboot.
ENERGY SAVING TIP
Place the freezer in the coolest area of the room, away from heat
sources, and out of direct sunlight. Do not overload the freezer or block
any ventilation openings.
