Duringleaktest,keepgrillawayfromopenflamesorsparks.
Usea cleanpaintbrushand50/50soapandwater
solution.Usemildsoapandwater.
• Donotusehouseholdcleaningagents.
Damagetogastraincomponentscanresult.
5. Hold regulator, insert nipple (B) into LP tank valve.
Hand tighten coupling nut, holding regulator in a
straightline (C) with LP tank valveso as not to cross
thread the connection. _1__

Connecting The Regulator To The LP Tank
1. LPtankmustbeproperlysecuredontogrill.
2. Turnallcontrolknobsincludingsidebumer(iffeatured)totheOFF
posilion.
3. TurnLPtankOFFbytuminghand-wheel
clockwisetoa fullslop.
4. Removetheprotectivecapfrom
LPtankvalve.Alwaysusecapand OPDHand
strapsuppliedwithvalve. Wheel

threads) will defeat safety
feature of valve.
Holdcouplingnut

6. Turn the couplingnut clockwisetotighten to a full solid stop.
The regulatorwillseal onthe back-checkfeature in LPtank
valve,resultingin some resistance.An additionalone-hell
to three quarters turn is required to complete
connection.Tighten by hand only - do not use tools.
NOTE: Ifyoucannotcompleteconnection,disconnectregulatorand
repeatsteps5and6.Ifyouarestillunabletocompletethe
connection,donotusethisregulator!
WARNING
• Do not insert any foreign objects into the valve
outleL You may damage the valve and causea leak.
Leaking propane may result in explosion, fire, severe
personal injury, or death.
• Never attemptto attachthis grill to the self-contained
LP gas system of a campertrailer or motor home.
• Do not use grill until leak checked.
• If leak is detected at any time, STOPand call the Fire
Department.
• If you cannot stop a gas leak, immediatelyclose LP
tank valve and call LP gas supplier or your fire
department!
