CONNECTING THE DUST
EXTRACTION HOOD
1.Before attaching the dust extraction hood,
remove any accessory that is attached to
the tool.
2.Position the dust extraction hood onto the
tool over the accessory attachment area.
3.Turn the cam lever to secure the dust
extraction hood onto the tool.
4.Attach the rubber backing pad and sanding
sheet (sold separately) to prepare for
sanding.
5.Connect the vacuum cleaner hose to the
dust extraction tube. Note:
- Bosch VH-series hoses - The VX120 hose
adapter is required (included with VH-series
hoses).
- Other 35mm and 22mm hoses, such as the
Bosch VAC-series hoses - Connect hose
directly to the tool.
- Common 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” hoses - The
Bosch VAC024 adapter is required.
6.Connect the vacuum hose to a vacuum
cleaner.
The oscillating tool is now ready for sanding
while using a vacuum cleaner or dust
extractor.

• This dust extraction hood attachment is
only for use when sanding. It is not
designed for use when cutting, scraping or
grinding.
Read the tool manual for
use of this attachment
with the tool. Disconnect the plug from
the power source before making any
assembly, adjustments or changing
accessories. Do not use dust kit without
vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner
must be suitable for the
material being worked. When vacuuming
dry dust that is especially detrimental to
health or carcinogenic, use a vacuum
cleaner that is specifically intended for
that purpose.
