1. LocateAir FilterBox at rear of engine
2. Removeairfilter coverby unscrewingphillipsheadscrew
3. RemovefoamAir filter element.
4. TapAir filter elementgentlyto removemostof the dustand dirt.
5. Washfoam elementper instructionsbelowthenallowto drythoroughly.
6. Reinstallfoam airfilter element.
7. Reinstallair filter cover

Rinsewithfresh waterthen
squeezeoutexcess.
_ CAUTION
Theair filter elementmustbe intactor the enginewill suckin dustand
dirt,resultingin a shorterservicelifeof theengine.
Watershouldbe preventedfrom enteringintothefilter whenwashing
thevehicle.
Thefilter elementshall be cleanedgentlywithouttwistingto prevent
itfrom cracking. Neverwash itwith gasolineorany acid,alkalineor
organicvolatileoilto avoiditsaging,whichwill resultin reducingthe
effectof the airfilter oil to catchparticlesbeforetheyentertheengine.
Replacethe filter elementwith a newoneif it is brokenorcracked.
