Using Your Hot Pot
Attention: During the first use the heating element undergoes a minor chemical
reaction that may result in a slight odor and/or minor smoking. It quickly goes away.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the appliance or operate it when empty.
NOTE: When there is no water in the Hot Pot or if the water runs out during use,
the boil-dry protection automatically switches off the heating element. Should this
happen, turn the power switch off, unplug the unit, and allow it to cool before
continuing to use or storing.
NOTE: When max temperature is reached, indicator light will turn off and heating will
stop. Light will go back on to maintain temperature.
1. Place the Hot Pot on a sturdy flat and dry surface.
2. Insert the power cord firmly into the socket and make sure it is securely in place.
3. Plug the Hot Pot into the nearest Electric Outlet.
4. Turn on temperature control knob to the desired setting.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the appliance above the ‘MAX’ line.
5. Add your ingredients to the Hot Pot and gently stir using only plastic or wood
utensils during cooking, as metal can scratch and damage the stainless steel.
6. Once cooking is completed, turn the Temperature Control Switch ‘Off’, unplug the
appliance from the electrical outlet.
7. Let stand and cool before cleaning (15 minutes).

Multi cooking functions (boiling water or tea, cooking noodles, steamboat, and
healthy steaming.)
Boiling Water
1. Remove glass lid, fill the inner pot with water as required. Do not fill water
exceeding ‘MAX’ mark. Then cover with glass lid. Insert the plug to an electrical
outlet. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘Boil’, indicator light will go on and
hot pot will start heating.
