To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBEDICE,CRUSHEDICEorWATER.
Pressthe glassgentlyagainstthetop ofthe
dispensercradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfand its grilleshouldbe cleaned
regularlg.
Ifnowaterisdispensedwhentherefrigeratoris
firstinstalled,theremay be air in the waterline
system.Pressthedispenserarm for at leasttwo
minutesto removetrappedair from thewaterline
andto fill the watersystem.Toflushout impurities
in thewaterline,throwaway thefirstsixglassfuls
of water.
CAUTION:Neverput fingersorany otherobjects
into theicecrusherdischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKpadfor 3secondsto lockthe
dispenserandcontrolpanel.Tounlock,press
and holdthe padagainfor 3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthe night light inthe
dispenseron andoff.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispensercradleis pressed.Onsome
models,ifthis lightburnsout,it shouldbereplaced
witha Bwatt 12Vmaximumbulb.
Quick Ice
Whenyou needice ina hurrg,presstheQUICK
ICEpadto speedupice production.Thiswill
increaseiceproductionfor thefollowing48hours
or untilgoupressthe padagain.
Door AIorm
Tosetthealarm,pressthe DOORALARMpaduntil
the indicatorlightcomeson.Thisalarmwill sound
if eitherdoor is openfor morethan 3minutes.
Thelightgoesout andthe beepingstopswhen
gouclosethe door.
Precise Fill
Thiswaterdispenseris equippedwith afeature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsyouto
choosea preciseamountof water(cupsor
ounces)that gouwouldlikedispensed.
0 Pressthe WATERpad.
0 Pressthe CUPSor OUNCESpad.
Selectthe preciseamountof watergou
wouldlikedispensed.
Ifyou selectedOUNCES,pressthe arrow
padson eithersideof the displagto select
the numberof ouncesgou wouldliketo have
dispensedbetween1-99ounces.
Ifyou selectedCUPS,pressthe arrowpads
on the leftofthe displagto selectthe whole
cups(1-16cups)and/orthe arrow padson
the rightsideof the displagto selectfractions
of acup (1/4-3/4 cups).
Pressthe cupagainstthecradleand water
willbegindispensing.It willautomaticallg
stopwhenthe amount set hasbeen
dispensed.Thedisplagwillshowthere
is nowater leftto dispense,then reset.
NOTE:Donotleavethedispenserunattended
whenwateris beingdispensed.
If youwould liketo stopdispensingwater
beforethe specifiedamounthasbeen
dispensed,just removethe cupfromthe
cradle.Thedisplagwillshowthe amount
leftto dispense.
Important Facts About Your Dispenser
i;__Donot addicefrom tragsor bagsto
the storagedrawer.It mag notcrushor
dispensewell.
i_ Avoidoverfillingglasswith iceand useof
narrowglasses.Backed-upicecanjam the
chuteorcausethe doorin the chuteto freeze
shut.If iceis blockingthe chute,pokeit through
withawoodenspoon.
i;_Beveragesandfoodsshouldnot bequick-
chilledinthe ice storagedrawenCans,bottles
orfood packagesinthe storagedrawermag
causethe icemakeror augerto jam.
:_Tokeepdispensedicefrommissingthe glass,
putthe glasscloseto,but nottouching,the
dispenseropening.
i;_Somecrushedice magbedispensedeven
though gou selectedCUBEDICE.Thishappens
occasionallgwhen a few cubesaccidentallyget
directedto the crushe[
iqAftercrushediceisdispensed,somewatermag
dripfromthe chute.
i;_Sometimesa smallmoundof snowwillform
onthe door in the icechute.Thisconditionis
normaland usuallgoccurswhen gouhave
dispensedcrushedice repeatedlg.Thesnow
will eventuallyevaporate.
