CAUTION!
1. Always ensure the shaver, charging
cord and your hands are dry when
connecting the shaver to the
charger. Never rinse the shaver
while charging.
2. Your shaver will have an initial
partial battery charge and should
operate out of the package. For
best performance give your new
shaver a full charge before your
initial use.
3. To charge the shaver, first connect
the charge cord to the shaver and
then to the electrical wall outlet.
The plug into the shaver will have
a keyed shape to insure proper
orientation and prevent an incorrect
charger from being used. (A , B)
4. Leave the shaver plugged in for
90 minutes to provide a complete
charge. While charging a single
green LED light will glow to show
the shaver is charging. When the
shaver is fully charged the green
LED light will shut off.
Charging
5. Your shaver should operate for up
to 45 minutes on a single charge
offering several shaves before
requiring a recharge. When in
need of a recharge, the green LED
light will flash on and off when the
shaver is turned on.
6. It is best to run the shaver down
until it indicates need for a charge
rather than charging after every
use. Charging daily increases the
charging cycles and reduces the
battery life.

B
The cutters are intended to cut the
hairs slightly above the skin surface
to help prevent ingrown hairs. You
may feel a very short stubble at the
completion of your shave
Shaving once or twice daily is the
best practice for controlling shave
bumps and ingrown hairs.
Remington recommends that you
use your new shaver daily for up to
three weeks to allow time for your
hair and skin to become accustomed
to the new shaving system.

Shaving Tips
Before using, read the important
safety instructions in front of the
manual.
1. Remove the protective head guard
from the shaver head.
2. Press the on/off switch to turn the
shaver on.
3. Hold the shaving head so both
cutters are touching the skin.
4. Move the shaver in short up and
down strokes against the growing
direction of the hair. It will likely
require moving the shaver in a
variety of directions to capture all
hairs. (C)
Use light force against your skin.
The cutting heads will float to
adjust to your facial contours. It
will take several passes to capture
all the hairs in the small slots of
the cutters, especially in thick
areas of your beard.
Pulling your skin tight with your
other hand will cause hairs to
stand up and be captured more
easily in the cutting slots.
While shaving, the small combs
and soft rubber bumps between
the cutting heads will help lift and
feed the hairs into the cutters.
The pop up trimmer on the back
of the shaver can also be used to
trim stubborn or curly hairs that
are difficult to feed into the cutting
slots. It will help cut the hair short
so it can more easily enter the
cutting slots.
C
Use the pop-up trimmer at the back of the shaver to trim longer or curly hairs
before shaving. Use very light pressure.
Based on your preference, use the shaver dry, or with foam or gel.
After shaving, use a moisturizer or after shave lotion to soothe your skin.
Dry exfoliating with a manual or rotating brush before or in between shaves will
further to help control ingrown hairs.
