TO REPLACE MOTION DRIVE BELT

BELT' REMOVAL ._
1 Remove mower (See_'TO REMOVE
MOWER _'n this section of manual)
NOTE Observe entire moton drve be_t
and posit on d ail beit guides and keepers.
2 Disconnect clutch wre harness (A)
3 Remeve anti_rotation link (B) on rght
side of tractor.
4. Remove be_t from stat onary ider (C)
and clutching idler (D).
5 Remove bett from centerspan diet (E).
6 Pull bet s_ack toward rear d tractor.
Carefully remove beIt upwards from
transm ssion input pulley and over
coo!ing fan b_ades (F)_
7. Remeve belt downward from engine
pulley and a_ound etectdc c_utch (G),
8, Stide beh toward rear of tractor, off the
steedng pfate (H) and remove from
tractor.
BELLr/NSqXL LKTiON
!_ Install new be_t from tractor rear to
front, over the steering plate (4) and
above cuteh brake pedal shaft (J).
2_ Pul bett toward front of tractor and roi
beit around e/ectr c c£ch and onto
engine pWey (G),
3. Putl beIt toward rear of tractor Care
fuIly work bett down around transmis_
sion cooiing fan and onto the input
pu_tey (F). Be sure belt s nside the
bett keeper,
4_ Install bet on eenterspan d_er (E)
5 Install bett through stationary idIer (C)
and cWich ng idler (D).
6. ReinstaI/antiorotat on ink (B) on rght
side of tractor. T 9hter securely_
7_ Reconnect ctutch harness (A),
8 Make sure belt is n a/i putey grooves
and nside all bet gudes and keepers,
