Operating Instructions
1. Plug cord into electrical outlet. The Red light should be on, indicating appliance is
heating.
2. Set desired temperature. When the Green light is on the appliance is ready to make
wafes. For light brown wafes select lower temperature, for dark brown wafes
select higher temperature.
3. Pour 1/3 - 1/2 cup of batter into the center of the wafe plate. Close lid quickly
otherwise wafes may not become evenly browned.
4. Depending upon the batter and the temperature selected, baking time will be from
2-5 minutes.
5. Once the wafe is ready, remove it by gently loosening the edges with a heat
resistant spatula. Never use metal utensils as they may damage the nonstick coating.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
1. When nished baking, remove plug from outlet. Leave top lid open so wafe plates cool.
2. You may clean the wafe plates by simply brushing the crumbs from the grooves on
the plates. You may also clean the wafe plates by wiping with a damp to prevent
batter or oil build up.
3. Wipe outside with a soft, damp cloth after appliance has cooled.
4. Never use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
5. WARNING! Never submerge appliance in water.
Wafe Making Tips
The wafe mixture should be fairly thick, but uid enough to pour from spoon.
After baking, do not pile wafes on top of each other, otherwise they will become
soggy.
If you prefer crispy wafes, substitute the milk with water. Milk makes wafes softer
and darker in color. Use a lower heat setting.
Use good quality our or wafe mix.
Always mix batter thoroughly.
