Operating Instructions
1. Plug cord into electrical outlet. The Red light should be on, indicating appliance is
heating.
2. Set desired temperature. When the Green light is on the appliance is ready to make
wafes. For light brown wafes select lower temperature, for dark brown wafes
select higher temperature.
3. Pour 1/3 - 1/2 cup of batter into the center of the wafe plate. Close lid quickly
otherwise wafes may not become evenly browned.
4. Depending upon the batter and the temperature selected, baking time will be from
2-5 minutes.
5. Once the wafe is ready, remove it by gently loosening the edges with a heat
resistant spatula. Never use metal utensils as they may damage the nonstick coating.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
1. When nished baking, remove plug from outlet. Leave top lid open so wafe plates cool.
2. You may clean the wafe plates by simply brushing the crumbs from the grooves on
the plates. You may also clean the wafe plates by wiping with a damp to prevent
batter or oil build up.
3. Wipe outside with a soft, damp cloth after appliance has cooled.
4. Never use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
5. WARNING! Never submerge appliance in water.
Wafe Making Tips
• The wafe mixture should be fairly thick, but uid enough to pour from spoon.
• After baking, do not pile wafes on top of each other, otherwise they will become
soggy.
• If you prefer crispy wafes, substitute the milk with water. Milk makes wafes softer
and darker in color. Use a lower heat setting.
• Use good quality our or wafe mix.
• Always mix batter thoroughly.
