Barbed Fuel Pressure T-Fitting Adapter
This Barbed Fuel Pressure T-Fitting Adapter allows you to install your 1/8-27 NPT fuel pressure sensor into
your vehicle’s fuel line.
1. Locate the fuel line on the vehicle that you are planning to install the barbed T-fitting into. We
recommend using the feed line to the fuel rail or the supply line coming from the fuel pump.
2. Cut the rubber fuel line in half on a location where the T-fitting has sufficient room to be installed. Insert
the hose clamps over the cut ends of the line and lubricate both ends of the T-fitting. Install the T-fitting
into the two cut ends by firmly pressing the hose until fully seated. Secure the T-fitting to the fuel line
using the hose clamps.
3. Thread the fuel pressure sensor into the T-fitting. Use Teflon tape or thread sealant on the threads to
prevent any leaks.
4. Prime the fuel system by bumping the starter 3-5 times, but do not allow the vehicle to start. This
process will ensure that all of the air has been purged from the fuel system.
5. Start the engine and verify that there are no leaks at the T-fitting connections.
