Charging the Watch
WARNING

NOTICE
To prevent corrosion, thoroughly clean and dry the contacts and the surrounding area before charging or
connecting to a computer. Refer to the cleaning instructions.
1 Plug the small end of the USB cable into the charging port on your watch.
2 Plug the large end of the USB cable into a USB charging port.
The watch displays the current battery charge level.
Tips for Charging the Watch
• Connect the charger securely to the watch to charge it using the USB cable (Charging the Watch, page20).
You can charge the watch by plugging the USB cable into a Garmin AC adapter with a standard wall outlet or
a USB port on your computer. Charging a fully depleted battery takes about two and a half hours.
• Leave the watch connected to the charger until the battery charge level reaches 100%.
• View the remaining battery percentage on the controls menu (Controls, page2).
Viewing Watch Information
You can view the unit ID, software version, regulatory information, and license agreement.
