2).Holdthebladeorutensilata30°angleandscrapethesoilingorspilltoacoolareaofthecooktop.

4).Followsteps2to4foreverydaysoilingonglassabove.

6. The induction hob makes a low humming noise when used on a high heat setting.
Thisiscausedbythetechnologyofinductioncooking:Thisisnormal,thenoiseshouldquietendownordisappear

7. Fan noise coming from the induction hob.
Acoolingfanbuiltintoyourinductionhobhascomeontopreventtheelectronicsfromoverheating.Itmaycontinuetorun
evenafteryou’veturnedtheinductionhoboff:Thisisnormalandneedsnoaction.Donotswitchthepowertothe
inductionhoboffatthewallwhilethefanisrunning.
8. Pans do not become hot and “ ” appears in the display.
Theinductionhobcannotdetectthepanbecauseitisnotsuitableforinductioncooking.Theinductionhobcannotdetect
thepanbecauseitistoosmallforthecookingzoneornotproperlycentredonit:Usecookwaresuitableforinduction

Centrethepanandmakesurethatitsbasematchesthesizeofthecookingzone.
9. The induction hob or a cooking zone has turned itself off unexpectedly, a tone sounds and an error code is
displayed (typically alternating with one or two digits in the cooking timer display).
Technicalfault:Pleasenotedowntheerrorlettersandnumbers,switchthepowertotheinductionhoboffatthewall,and
contactaqualifiedtechnician.
4. The glass is being scratched.
Tough-edgedcookware.Unsuitable,abrasivescourerorcleaningproductsbeingused:Usecookwarewithflatand

5. Some pans make crackling or clicking noises.
Thismaybecausedbytheconstructionofyourcookware(layersofdifferentmetalsvibratingdifferently):Thisisnormal,

Ensurethethicknessoftheworksurfaceisatleast35mm.Pleaseselectaheat-resistantworksurfacematerialtoavoid
deformationcausedbytheheatradiationfromthehotplate.
Theabovearethejudgmentandinspectionofcommonfailures.
Pleasedonotdisassembletheunitbyyourselftoavoidanydangerordamagetotheinductionhob.
Makesuretheinductionhobiswellventilatedandtheairinletandoutletarenotblocked.Ensuretheinductionhobisingood
workingorder.
Note:Thedistancebetweenthehotplateandthecupboardaboveshouldbe650-750mm.
Thehobhasaspecialsealwhichpreventsliquidfromenteringthecabinet.Followtheseinstructionsinordertocorrectlyapply
thisseal:Detachthesealsfromtheirbacking.Turnthehoboverandcorrectlypositionthesealundertheedgeofthehobso
thattheouterpartofthesealperfectlymatchestheouteredgeofthehob.Fixthesealtothehobevenlyandsecurely,pressing
itfirmlyinplace.
Note: There must be a 560x5mm opening in the front
(position E) to dissipate the air.
After installation, ensure the airflow opening is not
blocked by the worktop.
Before you install the hob, make sure that:
•Theworksurfaceissquareandlevel,andthatnostructuralunitsinterferewiththespacerequirements.
•Theworksurfaceismadeofaheat-resistantmaterial.
•Ifthehobisinstalledaboveanoven,theovenhasabuilt-incoolingfan.
•Theinstallationwillcomplywithallclearancerequirementsandapplicablestandardsandregulations.
•Asuitableisolatingswitchprovidingfulldisconnectionfromthemainspowersupplyisincorporatedinthepermanentwiring,
mountedandpositionedtocomplywiththelocalwiringrulesandregulations.
Theisolatingswitchmustbeofanapprovedtypeandprovidea3mmairgapcontactseparationinallpoles(orinallactive
[phase]conductorsifthelocalwiringrulesallowforthisvariationoftherequirements).
•Theisolatingswitchwillbeeasilyaccessibleafterinstallation.
•Youconsultlocalbuildingauthoritiesandby-lawsifindoubtregardinginstallation.
•Youuseheat-resistantmaterials(suchasceramictiles)forthewallsurfacessurroundingthehob.
When you have installed the hob, make sure that:
•Thepowersupplycableisnotaccessiblethroughcupboarddoorsor
drawers.
•Thereisadequateflowoffreshairfromoutsidethecabinetstothebase
ofthehob.
•Ifthehobisinstalledaboveadrawerorcupboardspace,thehobbottom
temperaturemaybetoohigh,inordertopreventhandorotherflammable
/combustioncontact,athermalprotectionbarrierisinstalledbelowthe
baseofthehob.
•Theisolatingswitchiseasilyaccessible.
Before locating the fixing brackets
Theunitshouldbeplacedonastable,smoothsurfacetoprevent
damage.Donotapplyforceontothecontrolsprotrudingfromthehob.
Adjusting the bracket position
Fixthehobontheworksurfacebyscrewing2bracketsonthebottomofhob(seepicture)afterinstallation.
Cautions
1.Theinductionhotmustbeinstalledbyqualifiedpersonnelortechnicians.
2.Thehobmustnotbeinstalleddirectlyaboveadishwasher,fridge,freezer,washingmachineoradryerasthehumiditymay

3.Theinductionhotmustbeinstalledinawaythatbetterheatradiationcanbeensuredtoenhanceitsreliability.
4.Thewallandinducedheatingzoneabovetheworksurfacemustwithstandheatgeneratedbythehob.
5.Toavoidanydamage,thesandwichlayerandadhesivemustberesistanttoheat.
•Ifthecableisdamagedortobereplaced,theoperationmustbecarriedoutthebyaserviceagentorasuitablyqualified
professional.
•Iftheapplianceisbeingconnecteddirectlytothemains,anomnipolarcircuitbreakermustbeinstalledwithaminimum
openingof3mmbetweencontacts.
•Theinstallermustensurethatthecorrectelectricalconnectionhasbeenmadeandthatitiscompliantwithallapplicable
