6.1 Safety standards
Never submit the machine to water jets.
Unplug the machine from the power
mains before performing maintenance
and/or cleaning operations. In case
of malfunction of the machine, please do not
attempt any self-repair and contact immediately
the Manufacturer’s technical assistance service. In
case of damaged power cord, switch the machine
off immediately, contact the technical assistance
service. Avoid any attempt of self-replacement.
Perform cleaning/maintenance with the machine
off, preferably by wearing protection gloves.
6.2 Cleaning the machine
These recommendations are indicative, the
maintenance and cleaning frequency is strictly
related to the use of the machine.
Periodically
1) Clean the drip-tray.
2) Clean the machine housing.
3) Clean the hopper.
4) Clean the dispenser.
Caution:
Never use solvents, detergents or
abrasive sponges for washing and
cleaning metal parts. Wash with
a cloth moistened with water and/or neutral
detergents by paying attention to dry accurately
all surfaces before re-plugging the machine to the
power mains.
To wash and clean the hopper (Fig. 01; pos. 9)
separate this last from the grinder-dispenser and
wash it by means of a wet cloth with products and
modes commonly used for objects in contact with
food, rinse and dry accurately before replacing it
on the grinder-dispenser.
To clean the dispenser, first empty all ground
coffee contained in the dispenser body (Fig. 01;
pos. 11), remove the lid (Fig. 01; pos. 3) and, by
means of a brush, clean the inner surfaces and
the driving star by making it turn.
Keep the brush in a closed and protected
environment by paying attention to use it only for
cleaning the grinder-dispenser in order to avoid
contaminations with substances of different kind.
6.3 Correct disposal of the product
(electrical and electronic waste)
(Applicable to the countries of the European
Union and to those with differentiated waste
collection system)
The mark applied to the product or its
documentation shows that the product cannot
be disposed of jointly with other household waste
at the end of its life cycle. To avoid any possible
damages to the environment and health caused
by the inappropriate waste disposal, the user is
invited to separate this product from other types
of waste and recycle it responsibly to encourage
the sustainable reuse of material resources.
Home users are invited to contact the dealer
from whom the product was purchased or the
local office intended to give all information about
differentiated collection and recycling for this type
of product. Corporate users are invited to contact
their Supplier and verify the terms and conditions
of their purchase contract. This product must
not be disposed of jointly with other commercial
waste.
