Tomato and
Cheese Arepa
• Place all ingredients, except pesto sauce, cheese and tomatoes, in
a large bowl and knead well with hands
• Form the dough into balls
• Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked.
• Let the arepas cool for a few minutes, then carefully by using
an oven mitt slice it open, spread with pesto sauce and ll with
mozzarella cheese and tomato
• 2 cups white corn our
• 1 1/2 cups warm water
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• Fresh mozzarella cheese
• 1 sliced tomato
• Pesto sauce (spread)
