Operation
Starting + Stopping
Before you start the unit, make sure the trimmer is not
contacting with any object.
1. Slide the battery pack in the battery compartment until it
snaps into position (Fig. 10).
IMPORTANT! Make sure that the battery pack is secured
to the tool before beginning operation.
2. To turn the grass trimmer ON, press and hold the safety
lock button with your thumb, then squeeze the ON/OFF
trigger switch with your ngers. Once the machine powers
on, you can release the safety lock button and proceed
with operation (Fig. 11).
3. To switch OFF, release the trigger switch. Remove the
battery from the battery compartment (Fig. 11).
mWARNING! Always remove the battery pack from the
grass trimmer during work breaks and after nishing work.
Speed Settings
This grass trimmer is equipped with two variable speed
settings. Slide the speed setting on the handle to change
speed (Fig. 12).
Trimming
• Wear non-slip gloves for maximum grip and protection. Hold
the grass trimmer with your right hand on the rear handle
while the right arm slightly bent, and your left hand on the
front auxiliary handle with the left arm straight. The grass
trimmer should be held at a comfortable position with the
rear handle about hip height. The trimmer head should be
parallel with the ground and easily contacts the material to
be cut without the operator having to bend over (Fig. 13).
