Always turn off mower, make sure blades have stopped
moving, and remove the start key from the mower when
you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning,
or when not in use. This will prevent accidental starting
that could cause serious personal injury.

Always inspect mower for missing or damaged parts and
blades for damage or uneven or excessive wear prior to
use. Use of the mower with damaged or missing parts
can result in serious personal injury.
NOTICE:
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced. Please contact customer service or an
authorized service center for assistance.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purpose listed below:
Mowing your lawn
INSTALLING THE SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE
See Figures 2 - 3.
The mower is configured for mulching when shipped. If side
discharge is desired:
Disconnect the mulch cover latches from the two side
mounting points on the mower deck housing.
Remove and store the side mulch cover.
Align the side discharge chute as shown.
Insert a bolt from the underside of the deck.
Install the nut onto the bolt and tighten firmly.
OPERATION

Repeat the steps for the second bolt.
The mulch cover may be reinstalled once the side discharge
chute has been installed and when mulching is desired.
Raise the side discharge chute.
Align the slot to the tab and position the mulch cover over
the opening in the mower deck.
Attach the latches over the studs to secure in place.
Lower the side discharge chute.
WARNING:
Make sure the side discharge chute fully closes when
finished. Failure to do so can cause serious injury.
