Remove the two knurled silver nuts from the threaded posts on the
top of the telescope tube.
For additional magnifi cation, you can use the included 3x Barlow
lens. Place the Barlow lens between the focuser and the eyepiece.
To move the scope up and down, loosen the thumb bolts at the
slow-motion rod guide and move by hand as shown.
Remove plastic caps on front and back of fi nderscope and orient it
on the telescope so that the larger lens is facing towards the front
of the telescope tube, as shown. Place fi nderscope over the posts
on the tube and replace the knurled nuts to secure.
To use the Moon fi lter, remove the eyepiece from the eyepiece
tube or Barlow. Thread the fi lter onto the bottom of the eyepiece
and re-insert the eyepiece into the eyepiece tube or Barlow.
NOTE: The Moon fi lter only works with the included 4mm eyepiece.
Remove the lens cap from the front of the telescope. To observe,
look through the eyepiece as shown. Focus the image by turning the
knobs below the focuser.
To move the scope right and left, loosen the knob at the base of the
mount and move by hand as shown.
