Long Term Storage (Continued)
4. Follow the maintenance section and check, service or replace
serviceable items if required. Visually inspect the machine and
replace or repair any worn parts. Check the blade and sharpen
or replace if necessary.
5. Remove the spark plug. Add 1 teaspoon of 2-stroke oil to the
combustion chamber. Pull the starter pull cord several times to wet all
mechanical parts with oil. Replace the spark plug.
Preparation To Re-Use
1. Remove the spark plug.
2. Pull the starter pull cord quickly in order to remove any excess oil
from the combustion chamber.
3. Clean the spark plug and observe the correct electrode gap on
the spark plug.
4. Fill the tank.
Transportation
Whenever the machine is to be handled, lifted, transported or titled,
you must:
1. Wear sturdy work gloves.
2. Hold the machine at the points that offer a safe grip. Take the
machine’s weight in certain areas to account when handling and
lifting.
3. Use an appropriate number of people for the weight of the
machine and consider the characteristics of the vehicle or the place
where it must be placed or collected.
4. You must make sure that machine movements to not cause petrol
leaks, damage or injuries.
5. During transport, make sure to fasten the machine securely with
cables or straps.
6. Always use the protective cases and ensure that the machine
cannot switch on during transport. Always carry the machine with the
sharp parts facing away from your body.
