using this appliance. Always exercise basic safety precautions, including the following:
Risk of Fire
• The installation must be performed by a qualied installer according to the manufacturers’
instructions and local codes.
• Do not install with exible plastic venting materials. If exible metal (foil type) duct is installed,
it must be made of a specic type identied by the appliance manufacturer as suitable with the
dryer. Otherwise it might collapse, crush and trap lint, which will obstruct airow and increase the
risk of re.
• To reduce the risk of severe injury or death, follow all installation instructions.
• Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in possible electric shock.
• Check with a qualied electrician, service representative, or personnel if you have doubts as to
whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If
it does not t the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualied electrician.
• Place the dryer in a dry and well ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Do not use spray cleaner to clean the interior. If the drum becomes stained, clean it with a damp cloth.
• Do not dry articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with
gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other ammable or explosive substances, as they give off vapors
that could ignite or explode.
• Do not place items that have been soiled with ammable liquids inside the dryer without washing
them with detergent thoroughly beforehand.
• Remove any residue before drying the next load.
• The dryer must be placed on rm horizontal surface. Do not place the dryer on carpet as this will
block the air intake. Leave at least 4 inch distance between the dryer and the walls.
For Your Safety
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when
the appliance is used near children.
• Do not reach into the appliance if the drum is moving.
• Before the appliance is discarded, remove the door to the drying compartment.
• Connect the appliance to an individual branch circuit.
• Do not install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to outdoor.
• Do not tamper with controls.
• Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance or attempt any servicing unless specically

7
• Keep area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the
accumulation of lint, dust, and dirt. The interior of the appliance and exhaust duct should be
cleaned periodically by qualied service personnel.
• Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer. Items contaminated with cooking oils
may contribute to a chemical reaction that could cause a load to catch re. To reduce the risk
of re due to contaminated loads, the nal part of a dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down
period). Avoid stopping a dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly
removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• INDOOR USE ONLY. This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
• Do not place ame sources, such as candles, on or near the appliance.

tablecloths, curtains, etc.
• Do not run the cord under oor coverings. Instead, arrange the cord away from trafc areas
where it will become a trip hazard.
• To disconnect the appliance, turn the appliance off, switch off the power outlet and remove the
plug from the power outlet.
• Do not misuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or pull to disconnect it from the
outlet. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug or has been dropped or damaged
in any way. If the appliance malfunctions, please contact customer service. Do not use the
appliance following any malfunctions.
• Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify this appliance. The warranty becomes void if not
serviced or repaired by a qualied person.
• Do not excessively bend, stretch, twist or bind the power cord or place objects on it.

• The door window may be hot after a long drying cycle. Please ensure children are kept away from
the machine.
• If the dryer is not wall mounted, place in a at, rm, and dry place. Use the adjustable front legs
to assist in leveling if needed.
• Do not place the dryer on any soft material such as foam or plastic.
• Do not use ammable or combustible materials such as gas, petrol, alcohol or lacquer in the dryer.
• After turning off the power supply to the dryer, wait at least 2 minutes before turning it back on again.

Grounding Instructions
• This appliance must be grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding will
reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet
that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes. The power cord of this
appliance is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets
to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
• This appliance requires a standard 120 Volt/60 Hz three-prong electrical outlet.
• WARNING - Improper connection of the equipment/grounding conductor can result in a risk of
electric shock. Check with a qualied electrician or service representative or personnel if you are in
doubt as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the
appliance: if it will not t the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualied electrician.
Surge Protector
• Most electrical appliances use a series of electric control boards to operate. These boards are very
susceptible to power surges and could be damaged or destroyed.
• If the appliance is going to be used in an area or if your city / country is prone to power surges /
outages; it is suggested that you use a power surge protector for all electrical devices / appliances
you use. The surge protector that you select must have a surge block high enough to protect

Installation
Choose the Proper Location
IMPORTANT: Make sure to follow the electric and grounding requirements and warnings in Important
Safety Instructions.
• Place the dryer in a dry and well-ventilated area away from heat or direct sunlight. Do not expose
the dryer to freezing temperatures (under 32°F).

the dryer on carpet or soft tile surfaces, as this will block the intake and move slightly during the
spin cycle.
• If the dryer is rack mounted, a secure bracket is required to ensure stability and prevent vibration.
Leave at least 5.1" distance between the dryer and the wall. You need to buy the bracket separately.
Wall Mounting Instructions
