YHT-500 QUICK'CONNECTGUIDE
The YHT-500 Home Theater package includes a
remote control. It comes pre-programmed to
control your HTR-5440 receiver.
INSTALLINGBATTERIESIN THEREMOTECONTROL
Insert the batteries in the correct direction by aligning the
+ and - marks on the batteries with the polarity markings
(+ and -) inside the battery compartment.

1 Press the _" part and slide off the battery
compartment cover.
_) Insert the 2 supplied batteries (AA) according
to the polarity markings on the inside of the
battery compartment.
3 Slide the cover back on so that it snaps into
place.
POWERON/Off
1. Aim the remote control at the receiver, press POWER.
2. The receiver should turn on.
3. Press the POWER button again to turn the receiver off.
