“THINKING...” appears when Alexa is processing your voice input.
“SPEAKING...” appears while Alexa is responding to your voice input.

Start listening
While in Alexa idle state...
1 Speak the word “Alexa” to the connected microphone (Page 15) to
activate Alexa.

Press on the unit to speak with Alexa.
The display shows: “LISTENING...”.
2 Communicate with Alexa via the connected microphone.
3 During music playback in ALEXA source, you can perform the
following operations:

Play back/pause
Press 6 IW.
Reverse skip/Forward skip
Press S / T.
During music playback, press
or speak “Alexa” to pause the music and
activate Alexa. You can now start to communicate with Alexa.
