If your home’s tap water hardness is high,
descaling the machine more frequently is
advised for optimal performance. Please see
page 19 for descaling instructions.
Filling with Water
Before connecting the power cord to the electrical
outlet, make sure that the boiler cap on the underside
of the steamer is tightened completely.
Fill the refill tank with TAP WATER* using the included
refill bottle. To turn on the steamer, press the
ON button on the touch screen display (Fig. 3.1).
When turned on, the touch screen will display
“ON” (Fig. 3.2) and the steamer will automatically
begin to pump the water from the refill tank into the
boiler.
The appliance needs about 7-8 minutes to convert the
water into dry steam.
Once it reaches operating pressure, the temperature
will appear on the display (Fig. 3.3). Once the
temperature is displayed on the screen, the steamer is
ready for use.
NOTE: If your steamer runs out of water, the machine
will produce an alarm and “H2O” will appear on the
display screen. When your steamer is out of water, the
unit will not produce steam until the refill tank is
replenished.
