Setting Oven Controls
To set the oven for convection bake and temperature to 350°F:
1. Arrange interior oven racks and place food in oven.
2. Press Convec Bake.
3. Press _. The minimum oven temperature (100 °) will be
displayed.

4. A beep will sound once the oven temperature reaches
350°F.
Note: The convection fan will start as soon as the oven is set.
PressQto cancel convection bake at any time.
For best results:
Fully preheat the oven before baking items like cookies,
biscuits, and breads. Cookies and biscuits should be baked
on pans with no sides or very low sides to allow heated air
to circulate around the food.
Dark or dull pans absorb more heat than shiny bakeware
resulting in dark or over browning of foods. It may be
necessary to reduce the oven temperature or cook time to
prevent over browning of some foods. Dark pans are
recommended for pies. Shiny pans are recommended for
cakes, cookies and muffins.
• Do not open oven door often. Doing so will reduce the
temperature in the oven and may increase cook time.
• When using convection bake with a single rack, place oven
rack in center of oven. (Figure 17) If cooking on multiple
racks, place the oven racks in positions 1 and 3.

Setting Cook Time
The Cook Time key controls the specific amount of cook time.
The automatic timer will turn the oven off after cooking for the
amount of time selected.
To program the oven to begin baking immediately at 350°F for
30 minutes and to shut off automatically:
1. Be sure the clock is set for the correct time of day
2. Arrange oven racks and place food in oven.
3. Press Bake. The default temperature of 350 will appear in
the display.

4. Press (_

5. Press Cook Time.
6. Enter bake time by pressing 30 using the numeric keypad.
Note: Baking time can be set for any time between 1 minute and
11 hours and 59 minutes.

7. Press _T_. The display returns to the time of day.

While baking, press Cook Time once to momentarily display the
bake time remaining.
When the bake time finishes, END and the time of day will show
in the display and the oven turns off automatically. The control
will beep three times and continue to beep every 30 seconds
until _ is pressed.
