To reduce transfer of washer sounds, a clearance of I in (2.5 cm) on the sides of the washer is recommended.
• The installation spacing is in inches
(centimeters) and is the minimum
allowable.
• Allow additional space if other appli-
ances are to be installed in the area.
• If closet door is installed, the minimum
air openings in top and bottom are
required. Louvered doors with
equivalent air openings in top and
bottom are acceptable.
