SINGLE-FIREOPERATION:
• Forsingle-fireoperation,pushintheroundside
oftheredspringloadedtriggerswitch,androtate
theteardropshapedsidesothatit dropsintothe
switchrecessfacingtheonenailicon.Theairtool
isequippedwitha contacttripsafetymechanism
thatdisablestoolsunlesscontacttripispushed
againstwork.Todriveafastener,holdtoolfirmly
andpresscontacttriponworkpiecewherefasten-
eristo beapplied.Pulltriggerto drivefastener
intoworkpiece.Tofireasecondfastenerliftthe
toolfromtheworkpiece,releasethetriggerand
thenrepeattheabovesequence.
RAPID-FIREOPERATION:
• Forrapid-fireoperation,pushintheroundsideof
theredspringloadedtriggerswitch,androtate
theteardropshapedsidesothatit dropsintothe
switchrecessfacingthethreenailicon.Holdthe
triggerdepressedandpushcontacttripagainst
workpiece.Afastenerwillbedriveneachtime
thecontacttripispushedagainsttheworkpiece.
Thisoperatingprocedureprovidesrapid-firefas-
tenerdriving.Neveroperatetoolunlesscontact
tripisincontactwithworkpiece.
CAUTION:All airpowerfasteningtoolsrecoilwhen
operated.Thisrecoiliscausedbyrapiddrivingof
thefastener.Toolmaybouncefromrecoilcausing
asecondunwantedfastenerto bedriven.Reduce
toolbouncebyholdingtoolfirmlyin handandpress-
ingtoolgentlyagainstworkpiece.Letthetooldo
thework.Thiswillallowrecoiloftoolto bouncetool
awayfromworkpiecepreventingthedrivingof second
fastener.
