Thisbladecontrolis a safetydevice.Neverattemptto bypassits

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LEVER
Oneadjustmentleveris locatedon the right rearwheelandone is
locatedonthe rightfront wheel. Bothlevershaveto be at the same
positionto ensurea uniformcut.To adjustthe cuttingheight,referto
the AssemblySection.
MULCH PLUG
Themulch plug isusedfor mulchingpurposes.Insteadof collecting
the grassclippingsin a grass catcheror usingthe sidedischarge
chute,somemowermodelshavetheoptionof recirculatingthe
clippingsbackto the lawn.This is calledmulching.
Keephandsand feet awayfrom the chuteareaon cuttingdeck. Refer
to warninglabelonthe unit.
RECOIL STARTER
The recoilstarteris attachedto the right upperhandle.Standbehind
the unit andpull the recoilstarterropeto startthe unit.
OIL FILL CAP/DIPSTICK
Referto the Maintenancesectionfor instructionsoncheckingthe oil.
TRAIL SHIELD
The trail shieldis attachedto the rear of the mowerand isthere to
protectthe operatorfrom flying debris.Do not usethe mowerunless
the shieldis fullyfunctionalandin place.
