Remove the shipping blocks from the
motor. Discard the screws.
Note: Some fans will have a shipping
ring instead of shipping blocks. Please
remove the ring and save the screws.
Time Saver Tip: Get a helper
to insert grommets, found in
the hardware bag, into the
blades while you’re doing the
next couple of steps.
If you are installing multiple remote-controlled
fans on the same circuit breaker,
you may need to perform a few extra steps to
prevent interference or faulty operation of your
remote controls.
