Oponal Supply Hose Instrucons: An oponal hose is available from your Napoleon Dealer that allows
the grill to be connected to a 20 lb (9.1 kg) cylinder. A dented or rusted cylinder may be hazardous and
should be checked by your propane supplier. Never use a cylinder with a damaged valve.
The LP-gas supply cylinder must be constructed and marked in accordance with the US Department of
Transportaon (DOT) specicaons for LP-Gas Cylinders or the Standard for Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes
for Transportaon of Dangerous Good and Commission, CAN/CSA-B339, as applicable.
The propane cylinder must be provided with a shut-o valve terminang in a propane cylinder valve type
QCC1, and a safety relief device having direct communicaon with the vapour space of the cylinder. The
cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapour withdrawal and the cylinder shall include a collar to
protect the cylinder valve. The cylinder shall incorporate a listed OPD (overll protecon device). To use
the hose, connect it between the tank valve and the regulator on the grill. These connecons should be
hand ghtened, and leak tested. Ensure that the cylinder valve is turned o whenever the grill is not in
use.
WARNING! Locate the hose out of pathways where people may trip over it or in areas where the
hose may be subject to accidental damage. Do not p or move propane supply cylinder.
WARNING! If these instrucons are not followed exactly, a re causing death or serious injury
may occur.
• Do not store a spare propane cylinder under or near this appliance.
• Never ll the cylinder beyond 80 percent full.
California Proposion 65: The burning of gas fuel creates by-products, some of which are on the list as
substances known by the State of California to cause cancer or reproducve harm. When cooking with
gas, always ensure adequate venlaon to the unit, to minimize exposure to such substances.
