Ultra Ice
To select Ultra Ice, press (_ and the indicator will
light up.
The Ultra Ice function will automatically turn off after
24 hours.
Lock

The Lock button b'_ deactivates the
temperature
controls and dispe_ser functions.
Press and hold button for 3 seconds or until the
Lock indicator light is lit.
To disable the Lock function, press and hold button
for 3 seconds or until the Lock indicator light is off.
Door Alarm
When either refrigerator or freezer door is left open for
more than 60 seconds, an alarm will sound to let you
know the door is open. When you close the door, the
door alarm will stop.
To deactiva[e the door alarm press and hold the Ultra
Ice button (_) for 5 seconds until you hear a beep.
Repeat this'-'process to turn the door alarm back on.
NOTE: If you deactivate the door alarm it will also
deactivate every sound made by pressing the buttons
on Control Panel.
Filter condition (filter replacement cycle)
There is a replacement indicator light for the water
filter cartridge on the dispenser.
Water filter usually needs replacement once every six
months. Filter light comes on to let you know when to
replace the filter.
After replacing the filter, press and hold Filter Reset
button 7_'for three seconds to turn off filter status light.
Dispenser Light
Press dispenser light @ button to turn the
dispenser light ON or OFF.
ADJUSTING CONTROL SETTINGS
Give the refrigerator time to cool down completely
before making final adjustments. It is best to wait 24
hours before doing this. The initial settings mentioned in
SETTING THE CONTROLS section should be correct
for normal household refrigerator use. The controls are
set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like
and when ice cream is firm.
The refrigerator control functions as the thermostat for
the entire appliance (refrigerator and freezer sections).
The colder the setting, the longer the compressor will
run to keep the temperature colder. The freezer control
adjusts the cold air flow from the freezer to the
refrigerator. Setting the freezer control to a lower
temperature keeps more cold air in the Freezer
compartment to make it colder.
If you need to adjust temperatures in the refrigerator or
freezer, start by adjusting the refrigerator. Then wait 24
hours before checking the freezer temperature. If it is
too warm or too cold, then adjust the freezer control.
Use the settings listed in the chart below as a guide.
Always remember to wait at least 24 hours between
adjustments.
