To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBEDICE,CRUSHEDICEor WATER.
Pressthe glassgentlgagainstthetop ofthe
dispensercradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfand itsgrilleshouldbe cleaned
regularly.
Ifno water is dispensed when the refrigeratoris
firstinstalled,there mog be airin the water line
sgstem. Press the dispenser arm for at least two
minutes to remove trapped airfrom the water line
and to fillthe water sgstem. Toflush out impurities
inthe water line,throw owog the firstsix glassfuls
of water.
CAUTION:Neverput fingers orong other objects
intothe ice crusherdischarge opening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKpadfor 3 secondsto lockthe
dispenserandcontrolpanel.Tounlock,press
and holdthe padagainfor 3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthe night light in the
dispenseron andoff.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispensercradleis pressed.Onsome
models,ifthis light burnsout, it shouldbereplaced
witha 6watt 12Vmaximumbulb.
Quick Ice
Whengouneedicein a hurrg,pressthe QUICK
ICEpadto speedupiceproduction.Thiswill
increaseiceproductionfor thefollowing48 hours
oruntil gou pressthe padagain.
Door Alarm
Toset thealarm,pressthe DOORALARMpad until
the indicatorlightcomeson.Thisalarmwill sound
if eitherdoorisopenfor morethan 3 minutes.
Thelightgoesout andthe beepingstopswhen
gouclosethe door.
Precise Fill
Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwitha feature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsgouto
choosea preciseamountof water(cupsor
ounces)that gou wouldlikedispensed.
0 Pressthe WATERpad.
0 Press the CUPSor OUNCESpad.
Selectthe precise amount of water gou
would likedispensed.
Ifyou selected OUNCES,press the arrow
pads on either side of the displag to select
the number of ounces gou would liketo have
dispensed between 1-99 ounces.
Ifgou selectedCUPS,pressthe arrowpads
onthe left ofthe displayto selectthe whole
cups(1-16cups)and/orthe arrowpadson
the right sideof the displagto selectfractions
of acup (1/4-3/4cups).
Pressthe cupagainstthecradleandwater
will begindispensing.It willautomaticallg
stopwhenthe amountset hasbeen
dispensed.Thedisplagwillshowthere
is nowater leftto dispense,then reset.
NOTE:Do not leave the dispenser unattended
when water is beingdispensed.
Ifgou would liketo stop dispensing water
before the specifiedamount has been
dispensed, just remove the cup from the
cradle. Thedisplag willshow the amount
leftto dispense.
Important Facts About Your Dispenser
?_Donotadd icefromtragsor bagsto
the storagedrawer.Itmagnot crushor
dispensewell.
_i Avoidoverfillingglasswith iceanduseof
narrowglasses.Backed-upicecanjam the
chuteorcausethe doorinthe chute to freeze
shut.If iceis blockingthe chute,pokeit through
witha woodenspoon.
_ Beveragesandfoodsshouldnot bequick-
chilledin the icestoragedrawer.Cans,bottles
orfoodpackagesin the storagedrawer mag
causethe icemakeror augerto jam.
_ Tokeepdispensedicefrom missingthe glass,
putthe glasscloseto, but nottouching,the
dispenseropening.

though gouselectedCUBEDICE.Thishappens
occasionallgwhena fewcubesaccidentallgget
directedto the crusher.
_ Aftercrushediceisdispensed,somewatermag
dripfromthe chute.
_ Sometimesa smallmoundof snowwillform
onthe door inthe icechute.Thisconditionis
normaland usuallgoccurswhengou have
dispensedcrushedicerepeatedlg.Thesnow
willeventuallgevaporate.
