Upconversion information displayed
Press the INFO button during playback to show input signal upcon-
version information.
o The input signal and playback signal displays will be the same
when the upconversion setting is “OFF”.
Example when the playback source is USB, COAX1, COAX2,
OPT1 or OPT2

Volume display
Two types of volume can be shown: STEP and dB.
This is set by the VOLUME TYPE setting (page26).
The volume setting shown will be enlarged when you turn this units
VOLUME knob.
o The headphone volume is shown when headphones are
connected.

The maximum volume level is 100 and the minimum level is
0. Before connecting headphones, set the VOLUME knob to its
minimum value (0). Failure to do so might cause sudden loud
noises, which could harm your hearing or result in other trouble.

The maximum volume level is 0 and the minimum level is −∞
(negative infinity). Before connecting headphones, set the
VOLUME knob to its minimum value (−∞). Failure to do so might
cause sudden loud noises, which could harm your hearing or
result in other trouble.
The set output level is shown when LINE OUT LEVEL is set to “FIXED
0dB” or “FIXED +6dB”.

“OFF”, VOL. 0” or “−∞ dB” will be shown.
