Nahimic 2.5
Nahimic 2.5 is designed to offer the best audio experience it contains 6 audio effects, 3
microphone effects, HD Audio Recorder2 and Sound Tracker.
Installation and Update
Nahimic 2.5 is included in the audio driver. If you need to install it or update it, please
use the Driver Disc with your motherboard or download the driver from MSIs official
website.

From this tab, you can access all of Nahimic 2.5s audio effects, audio profiles and
settings.

Device
properties
Mute
y Display & Volume - displays the type of audio rendering device currently being used
as output, as well as its current volume. This section can display the volume of the
internal (built-in) speakers, headphones and external speakers.
Mute - mutes the current audio output device.
Device properties - allows you to change the format, sample rate, bit rate and
the channel gain of the current device (if these options are available for the current
device). Clicks on this button and a device properties panel will show.
y Profiles - allows you to adjust the 7 audio effects to your current listening
experience. All profiles can be modified as you wish.
y Profiles Editing Buttons - allows you to create, edit, open, save and delete a profile.
y Audio Effects - allows you to separately control any of the 6 audio effects.
Bass Boost - Increases the energy in low frequencies up to +12 dB on a frequency
range optimized for the audio rendering device in use. Each audio effect can be
disabled by clicking on it.
Virtual Surround
Gaming and Movies - virtualizes the multichannel audio stream and downmixes
it in order to retrieve a multichannel listening experience over your stereo
headphones or speakers.
