possibility of water flowing backwards from this irrigation system, into the home. If your faucet does not have
a backflow device, such as a vacuum breaker, make sure to install one before attaching this sprinkler system.
The home’s backflow device must be compliant with local and federal plumbing codes. Orbit is not responsible
for damage or harm caused by not installing and maintaining the appropriate backflow prevention device.

#1 Will this survive harsh winters where the temperature drops below zero?

If you flush it out for winter. Using compress air.

#2 Can I split this wifi model into two different zones so I can cover more ground if I purchase more sprinklers and tubing etc?

The WiFi timer only accommodates one connection/zone.

#3 Does this have to be attached to the hose or can you attach it directly to the spigot?

Timer directly to spigot, then blue hose to sprinklers.

#4 Is a permit required from the city to install this sprinkler system?

No idea, installed it anyway

#5 Can you add additional tubing and sprinklers to the wifi system?

Yes, as long as each timer is in wifi range

#6 Do you have kits for larger areas?

This is the largest sprinkler kit we currently have but you can add more zones if your purchase more kits. You will want to make sure you have adequate water pressure though.

#7 What is the area coverage of each sprinkler head?

The area of ​​coverage for the sprinkler heads that come with the Sprinkler kit is 15-30ft.
