Rubberpaddleson theaugersalsoaidin propellingthe
unitastheycomeincontactwiththe pavement.
Auger Control Handle
Locatedontheupperhandle,theaugercontrolhandle
isusedtoengageanddisengagedrivetotheauger.
Squeezethecontrolhandleagainsttheupperhandleto
engageauger;releaseittodisengage.
Discharge Chute / Chute Handle
Rotatethedischargechutetotheleftor rightusingchute
handle.Pitchofthedischargechutecontrolsangleat
whichthesnowisthrown.Loosenwingknobonside
ofthedischargechutebeforepivotingdischargechute
upwardordownward.Retightentheknoboncedesired
positionhasbeenachieved.
Shave Plate
Theshaveplatemaintainscontactwithpavementas
thesnowthrowerispropelled,allowingsnowcloseto
pavement'ssurfacetobedischarged.
Fuel Cap
Removegascaptoaddfuel. Thisunitrunsona mixture
offuelandoil.DoNOToperatethesnowthrowerwithout
firstreadingtheTecumsehenginesoperator'smanualfor
instructionsregardingproperfuelandengineoil.
NOTE:Thisunitmayincludea fuelplug,whichisonly
usedduringassemblytokeepdirtanddebrisoutof fuel
tank. Discardthefuelplugbeforefillingthefueltank.
