4_If AURCONDITIONER is Blocked _ Storm
Window FRAME
, If storm win_w presents interference, fasten a
2wide wood strip to the inner window sill across
the full wi_ of the sill The _d strip should be
thick eno,_h to raise the height of the window silU
so that the unit _n _ installed without
intederence from the the storm window frame,.

T@,of wood strip,should be approximately 374"
higher than the storm window frame to help
condensation to drain proper_ to, the o_side,
install a se_nd wood _ip, (appiroximate_:/6"
bng by 11/2" wide and same thickness as first
strip) in the center of the outer sill flush against
the back of the inner sill
CAUTION:
Air ,_nditioners cove#ed in this manuali pose an
excessive weight hazard Two or more people
are. needed to move and install the unit.
To prevent injury or slrain, use pro_r Hfling and
carrying techniques when moving unit.
° When handling the air conditioner, _ ,_reful to

removal

L bracke from the windows.
K_p a firm grip on the air conditioner and raise the
sash,
LA the air conditioner from the window.
Remove the foam strip from between the window.
Remove the sup_rt bracket from windowframe,
Race unit and m_Jnting hardware in air c®ditio, ner
shipping carton, and store in clean, dry phi.
