NOTE
You can use the concentrator nozzle to increase
airflow in tight areas: flower beds, under decks,
etc.
10.4 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK
WARNING
If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace
the battery pack or the charger.
Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops
before you install or remove the battery pack.
Read, know, and do the instructions in the battery
and charger manual.
1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the
grooves in the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment
until the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
10.5 REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK
1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
11 OPERATION
WARNING
Make sure the blower tube is in position before
operation.
11.1 START THE MACHINE
1. Push the On/off button.
2. The machine starts in a low speed.
3. Turn the speed dial forward to increase the speed
from 70 km/h to 130 km/h.
4. Push the speed button to increase the speed from
75 km/h to 185 km/h.

IMPORTANT
Set the speed to high position when the machine is in
the mulching mode.

11.3 LED DIAGNOSTICS

1 LED flashes
red 5 times.
Start the machine
again or Charge the
battery pack.
Over-load pro-
tection
1 LED flashes
red 4 times.
Start the machine
again.
Battery jam
protection
The green and
red LED go off.
The unit stops.
Remove the battery
pack for 5 seconds
to set the machine.
Unusual bat-
tery tempera-
ture
The green and
red LED go off.
When the tempera-
ture of the battery
pack decreases, the
machine can oper-
ate in a good condi-
tion.
11.4 OPERATION TIPS
Make sure that the machine is in good condition.
Make sure that the tubes and guards are in position.
Do not point the machine at the person or loose
materials before you start the unit.
Ear protection is necessary to decrease the risk of
hearing loss related to noise level.
