1. This appliance is only for the purpose of boiling/heating water and is not to be used for the cooking or
heating of any food.
2. This kettle can only be used with the supplied power base and shall not be used with the base of other
products . Likewise, the power base supplied with this kettle shall not be used with other products.
3. The kettle cannot be lifted off the base as a means of disconnecting power to the kettle. Please ensure
proper use of the power switch.
4. During filling with water, the maximum water level mark cannot be exceeded.
5. This appliance features a boil-dry protection device, however, the user shall take precautions to prevent
this from happening, so as to extend the service life of the appliance.

If the kettle is used the first time or it has not been used for long time，i t is
required to fill the kettle with water to the maximum level，t hen boil the water
once or twice so as to clean it，and then pour out the water. This water should be discarded and
not drunk.
1. Open the kettle lid，remove the kettle from the
power base and fill with clean water. Ensure water does not
exceed the maximum water level but ensure that it is
higher than the minimum level.
2. Close the kettle lid properly and place it on the
power base.

3. Insert plug into power supply and press the
switch to start boiling. The indicator lamp will light up.
4. After it boils, the kettle will shut-off automatically.

CLEANING OF THE KETTLE
CLEANING METHOD
The kettle body and base cannot be cleaned by putting them into water.
To extend the service life of kettle, the mineral sediment inside the kettle should
be cleaned on regular basis. Before cleaning, it is required to disconnect from power and ensure the
kettle has cooled down.
Do not clean the inside of the kettle or its outside surface with steel wire or
chemical detergents.
1. Fill the kettle with 0.5 liter of edible white vinegar and soak it for more than 1 hour.
2. Pour out the vinegar from the kettle and clean the residual sediment with a wet
cloth.
3. Fill the kettle with water, boil it and then pour out the water. Rinse the kettle with clean water 4 or
5 times. The kettle can then be used as normal again.
4. If necessary, repeat the above operation several times.
5. The outside of kettle can be wiped with a damp cloth.
6. Only boil the amount of water that you need. Too much water may cause unnecessary waste.
7. If the kettle is not used for long periods, pour out the remaining water and leave
the kettle to dry.
8. Ensure the outside of the kettle and the plug and socket are dry before use.
7 TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible solution
The kettle and indicator light do not work
when the power switch is turned on
The water is boiling, but the power
switch and indicator do not turn off.
The kettle will not turn on.
• Make sure the kettle is seated properly on the
base and that the base is connected to a
functioning electrical outlet.
• If the problem persists, please contact
customer support.
• The auto-shut off function does not operate properly if
the lid is not completely closed. Disconnect power, allow
the kettle to cool down,
then make sure that the lid is properly locked into place.
• If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
• Make sure that the kettle is seated properly on
the base and that the base is connected to a
functioning electrical outlet.
• Water or debris on the bottom of the kettle or
on the base may interfere with the functioning of
the kettle. Be sure that the bottom of the kettle
and the base are dry and free of debris.
• If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
Problem Possible solution
There are mineral deposits inside the kettle. • A certain amount of scale build-up is normal
after long periods of use and is caused by
minerals contained in hard water. The best way
to prevent mineral deposits is to use distilled
water in the kettle.
• To remove deposits, try filling the kettle with
water and adding a few slices of lemon, then
boiling. If this does not work, see the “CLEANING
METHOD” section of this user manual .
