#1 can this be used for a saltwater or freshwater aquarium?

We only recommend using this in a fresh water aquarium. Saltwater may damage the parts easily.

#2 How does the move sensor work?

Hi there, If the UV filter is in "MOVE" position, the UV bulb will only turn on if there's water flow detected by the flow sensor. "AUTO" is most advisable to use to prolong the bulb life.

#3 Is the smart flow sensor switch ballast supposed to beep every time it senses a change in flow?

The system will beep to let you know that the bulb has gone out and needs to be replaced. If the bulb has not gone out but the system still beeps, then the ballast is defective and needs to be replaced.

#4 I am going to install this after my poe filtration tank, but can i install this before my poe softener tank (salt)?

We recommend that our UV filter always goes last, so if you can, please put it after the softener.
