Important Installation Guidelines - Flued Heaters
All Flued gas heaters must be installed by a licensed plumber/gas tter.
Other guidelines for Flued heaters include:
It is mandatory to use Rinnai proprietary ueing for all Rinnai Energysaver® & Gas Log Flame Fire heaters.
Use of unauthorised ueing will not only compromise performance and void warranty, but could have
serious safety related consequences
All Flued Space Heaters (Ultima II, Spectrum & 2001) use standard o-the-shelf ueing components
supplied by the installer
Room sizing is only dependant on the heat load required
If in doubt, it is best to slightly oversize a Flued Heater and let the thermostat do its work
Installation of Flued Heaters is limited to the exibility of the ueing system and therefore heaters cannot
always be positioned where desired
Some States of Australia require that a certicate of compliance is given to the end-user for both new
and changeover installations
All installations of Flued gas heaters must comply with the Australian Standard AS5601 – Gas Installations
