The Elite Brand takes consumer safety very seriously. Products are designed and
manufactured with our valued consumers’ safety in mind. Additionally, we ask that
you exercise a level of caution when using any electrical appliance by following all
instructions and important safeguards.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE

WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed as below:
1. It may be necessary to put heat-
resistant material (ceramic tiles, thick
board etc.) under the appliance
during use. Place the appliance on
a heat-resistant surface to avoid
possible damage to surface.
2. Do not run the appliance longer than
40 hours. After 40 hours of use, turn
Off the appliance (the knob should
be in the position “Off, unplug the
appliance and let it cool down.
3. To protect against risk of electrical
shock, do not put the base, cord &
plug in water or any other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used by or near
children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning.
6. If the power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent or a similar qualied
person in order to avoid a hazard.
7. The use of attachments not
recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause re, electric
shock, or injury.
8. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
9. Always use dehydrator indoors on a
at, stable surface to allow sufcient
airow.
10. Do not place dehydrator on or near a
hot gas stove, electrical burner or in
a heated oven.
11. Never place dehydrator base on
newspaper, carpet, towels and the
like, which can block airow and
cause failure. The dehydrator will
need an open and breathable space
to function properly and to its
capacity.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of
table or counter or come in contact
with any hot surface, including the
stove.
13. Any metal or sharp utensils should
not be placed inside or used with
the dehydrator at any time.
14. Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
15. Turn the appliance Off before
changing parts such as lid and trays.
16. This appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, this plug is intended to t
into a polarized outlet only one way.
If you are unable to t the plug into
the electrical outlet, try reversing
the plug. If the plug still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do
not modify the plug in any way.
17. Some countertop and table
surfaces, such as Corian®, wood and
/ or laminates, are not designed
to withstand prolonged heat
generated by certain appliances.
It is recommended by countertop
manufacturers and Maxi-Matic®
that a hot pad or trivet be placed
under your appliance to prevent
possible damage to the surface.
