COOKPOWER NAME WHEN TO USE IT
P50 = 50% of full power Medium Cooking ham, whole poultry, and pot roasts
Simmering stews
P40 = 40% of full power Melting chocolate
Heating bread, rolls and pastries
P30-DEF = 30% of full Medium-Low, Defrosting foods, such as bread, fish, meats,
power Defrost poultry, and precooked foods
P20 = 20% of full power Softening butter, cheese, and ice cream
P10-WRM = 10% of full Low Taking chill out of fruit
power
NOTE: Once cook time has been entered, you can also use the COOK POWER pad as a second Minute
Timer by entering "0" for the cook power. The oven will count down the cooking time you set without cooking.
For best results, some recipes call for one cook power
for a certain length of time, and another cook power for
another length of time. Your oven can be set to change
from one power level to another automatically, for up to
3 cycles plus a defrost cycle.
1. Put your food into the oven and close the door.
2. Touch number pads to set the cooking time for the
first cycle.
3. Touch number pad to set the cook power for the
first cycle.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to set the cooking time and
cook power for each additional cycle.
You can cook common microwave oven-prepared foods
just by choosing a category and quantity. The EZ-CHOICE
feature has preset times and cook powers for nine
categories.
To use EZ-CHOICE feature, follow the steps below:
1. Touch the pad for the food you want.
