PROBLEM
Before calling for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. This list
includes common occurences that are not the result of defective workmanship or
materials in this appliance.

be as muchas 30°F warmer
than roomtemperature.
• Use anothercimuit.If youare unsureaboutthe outlet,
have itcheckedby a certifiedtechnician.

• Check/replace fuse with a 15 amp time-delayfuse.Reset
circuitbreaker.
• Check houselights. Call local ElectricCompany.
• It's normalfor the freezer to work harderunderthese
conditions.
• It takes 4 hours for the freezer to cool downcompletely.
• Warm food willcause freezer to run moreuntilthe
desired temperatureis reached.
• Warm air enteringthe freezer causes itto runmare.
Opendoors less often.

• Turncontrol knob toa warmersetting.Allowseveralhours
for the temperatureto stabilize.
• Clean or changegasket. Leaksin the doorseal willcause
freezer to runlonger inorder to maintain desired
temperature.
• Turnthecontrolto a warmersetting.Allowseveral hours
for the temperaturetostabilize.
• Turncontroltoa coldersetting.Allow severalhoursfor the
temperatureto stabilize.
• Warm airentersthe freezereverytimethe dooris
opened.Open the doorless often.

• Wait untilthe freezer has hada chanceto reach its
selectedtemperature.
• Freezer requires 4 hours to cool down completely
