#1 What is the default password? i installed the samsung ssd software, plugged in the t7, and it is asking for a password (which i never created).

There is no default password. These drives ship new without any password. To set up, one installs the software and then selects a password for the drive. If the brand new, first-time-use drive is asking you for a password just to open the drive, you should return it.

#2 Does the fingerprint security work on smartphones, mac and windows devices without installing any software?

Yes, I've used it on a Mac, Windows, Linux, and android without the software. You do need to install the software on one device to setup the security. Afterwards, you don't need the software to use the drive. The files are hidden unless you use your fingerprint on the drive.

#3 Can i use this on my Hp elite zbook for music production with Studio One artist?

Definitely. It comes with both USB-C and USB-A cables, so you can pretty much use it with any computer to transfer your samples. It’s really fast.
