-• Clean engine, battery, seat, finish, etc.
of all foreign matter.
Keep finished surfaces arid wheels free
of all gasoline, oil, etc.
Protect painted surfaces with automo-
tive type wax.
We do not recommend using a garden
hose to clean your tractor unless the elec-
trical system, muffler, air filter and carbure-
tor are covered to keep water out. Water
in engine can result in a shortened engine
life.
,_CAUTION: Before performing any service or adjustments:
Depress clutch/brakepedal fullyand set parking brake.
-.--Placemotioncontrollever in neutral (N) position.
; Place attachmentclutchin"DISENGAGED" position.
TumJgnitionkey "OFF" and Pemovekey.
Make sure the blades and all movingparts have completelystopped.
Disconnectspark plugwire from spark plugand place wire where it cannotcome
in contactwithplug.
TO REMOVE MOWER
Mower will be easier to removefromthe
right side oftractor.
Place attachment clutchin "DISEN-
GAGED_"p.osition.
Move attachment liftlever forwardto
lower mower to its lowestposition.
Roll belt offengine pulley.
Disconnectclutchrodfrom clutchlever
by removingretainer spring.
+Disconnect anti-swaybarfromchassis
bracketby removingretainerspring.
Disconnectsuspensionarms from rear
deck brackets byremovingretainer
springs.

Disconnectfrontlinksfrom deck by
removingretainersprings.
Raise liftleverto raise suspension
arms. Slidemower outfrom undertrac-
tor.
IMPORTANT: If an attachmentother than
the mower deck isto be mountedon the
tractor,removethe frontlinks.
TO INSTALL MOWER
Raise attachmentliltlever to itshighest
position.
Slide mowerundertractorwithdis-
charge guardto rightside oftractor.
Lower liftleverto itslowestposition.
Installmower'in reveme order of
removalinstructions.
