Vizi Beam RXONE Cleaning
Vizi Beam RXONE Trouble Shooting
Trouble Shooting: Listed below are a few common problems that
you may encounter, with solutions.
Unit not responding to DMX:
1. Check that the DMX cables are connected properly and are
wired correctly (pin 3 is “hot”; on some other DMX devices
pin 2 may be ‘hot’). Also, check that all cables are connected
to the right connectors; it does matter which way the inputs
and outputs are connected.
No light output from the unit;
1. Make sure the lamp is “On”. See page 31
2. Be sure the external fuse has not blown. The fuse is located at
the rear panel of the unit.
3. Remove the “Lamp Access” shell and be sure the two wires are
connected to the lamp
4. Be sure the fuse holder is completely and properly seated.
Unit does not respond to sound:
1. Quiet or high pitched sounds will not activate the unit.
2. Make sure that Sound Active mode is activated.
Fixture Cleaning: Due to fog residue, smoke, and dust cleaning
the internal and external optical lenses and mirror should be carried
out periodically to optimize light output. Cleaning frequency depends
on the environment in which the fixture operates (I.e. smoke, fog
residue, dust, dew). In heavy club use we recommend cleaning on a
monthly basis. Periodic cleaning will ensure longevity, and crisp out-
put.
1. Use normal glass cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe down the out-
side casing.
2. Use a brush to wipe down the cooling vents and fan grill.
3. Clean the external optics and mirror with glass cleaner and a soft
cloth every 20 days.
4. Clean the internal optics with glass cleaner and a soft cloth every
30-60 days.
5. Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit
back in.
Vizi Beam RXONE Lamp Replacement
Carefully disconnect the two
wires that are connected to
the lamp’s reector. Firmly
grab the moving head to hold
it in place. Gently press the
lamp down, and gently pull
the top of the lamp out of
the lamp holder. Note: Never
touch the lamp located within
the reector with your bare
hands.
Replace the lamp by setting
the lamp into the two bottom
brakets, gently press the
lamp down, and insert the
top of the lamp into the lamp
frame.
