Installation Requirements
Location
Your washer must be installed on firm, [eve[ flooring to minimize vibration during spin cy'c[es.
Concrete flooring [s best, but wood base [ssufficient providing the floor support meets FHA
standards.
Your washer must not be installed on any textured floor coverings (eg carpet, rugs) to ensure the
opening at the bottom of the machine [s not obstructed.
Your washer must also be installed where it is not exposed to the weather.
Water Temperature
Your cold water should not exceed 95_'F(35_'C) and your hot water should not exceed 149°F (65°C).
Temperatures above this may damage your washer.
Shut Off Valves
Both hot and cold shuboff valves (faucets) should be available in the laundry area.
Drain
Water may be drained into a standpipe or tub/sink. The standpipe must be 1 Y/' (38 ram) minimum
interior diameter and must be open to the atmosphere.
Electrical
This appliance must be supplied with 110V - 120V, 60Hz electrical supply and connected to an
individual, properly grounded branch circuit, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time
delay fuse.
