The Samsung UA40J5100 40" 101cm Full HD LED LCD TV can play DVD/Blu-rays and CD'S which will need to be connected through your DVD/Blu-Ray player to the TV. The programming will need to be set up initially when you receive the unit, Just plug it into the Antenna and you can do auto programming which will find the channels for you.
