. Makesureaii cables are routedto the left of the chutecontrol rod.
Lineupthe holeinthe chutecontrolrodwiththe arrowon the
inputshaftandinsertthe rodintothe inputshaft belowjoystickon
handlepanel.SeeFigure7.
NOTE:Thechutecontrolrodwill fit snugglyintothe inputshaft.
Supportthe rear of thedash panelwith one handwhileinsertingthe
rodwithyourotherhandto ensurethe rod is insertedall the way into
the input shaft.
8. Nowpushthe chutecontrol rod back towardsthe handlepanel
untilthe holeinthe rodlines upwiththe holeinthe chutecontrol
inputclosestto the chutecontrolhead. Insertthe cotterpin. See
Figure8.
NOTE:The secondholeis usedto achievefurtherengagementof
chutecontrolrodinto the inputshaftif requiredandcan be usedlater
for adjustmentif the chutedoes not fullyrotate.Referto the Service&
Maintenancesectionfor ChuteControlRodadjustments.
9. Finishsecuringchute controlheadto chutesupportbracketwith
wing nut,andclevispinandbow-tiecotterpin removedearlier.Do
notovertighten.SeeFigure9.
